Exercise eight is played Dha, Na, Ge, Na. Whereas Exercise nine is played Ge, Na, Dha, Na.
Not only are these great rudiments to practice on their own to improve speed, clarity, and co-ordination, but they sound fantastic as fills, or as part of a longer roll.
