If you order any products from amazon you can also help out my channel by using this link! It also shows you some of the animation software and tool I use to make these videos! https://amzn.to/2NOk093 This is just a simple step by step tutorial on making a static walk cycle in which you can move the background behind a character.
It also shows you how to use a group folder so you can save the action and reposition and scale your character while adding the action anywhere on the screen.
The video also shows you how to combine the static walking action and then using a forward-moving cycle on the group folder to make the character also appear to move across the screen without having to create a whole new different action.
I also address the problem of how to space out your character's steps when moving a character forward so it doesn't appear that they are sliding around or moving to slow by using the onion skin tool.
It is in no way a highly detailed walk cycle but I think this can this can help you in a pinch and it's extremely easy to learn and do!
If you have any comments or questions just leave them down below as usual! :)
