On Oct. 9, 2025, the Health Policy Institute of Ohio hosted its second annual Ohio Health Policy Summit. The closing plenary was a fireside chat between Jill Miller, the President and CEO, Bethesda Inc. and the bi3 Fund and Dr. Meredith Smith, Executive Director of Cradle Cincinnati. The session, titled "Tackling Your Community’s Wicked Problem: An Adaptable Framework
That Works," featured a heartfelt, authentic fireside chat focused on the new book, "Infant Mortality and Other Wicked Problems: A Community-Driven Approach to Creating Change," co-authored by Miller and Smith. The book features a flexible framework communities can use to address their own wicked problems and examples of how it worked in Cincinnati.
