This is a short movie made from pictures I took during a trip I made in New Zealand in October 1995.
The map at the start shows the route I took from Auckland to the North via Bay of Islands to Cape Reigna and down on the West coast via the Kouri trees and Wellington to the South Island. I did that part hitchhiking which was great.
There I took public transport along the West coast down via Franz Jozef, Fox Glazier and Queenstown to Fjordland and up the East Coast via Dunedin and Christchurc to the North Island again
On the North island I rented a car in Wellington and drove to Roturua, Napier, Mount Tongariro and back to Auckland
I still consider this the best trip of all in all these years of travelling because New Zealand has everything you can wish for
