In this video we just want to add value back to the community. We really liked the way the 2nd generation center console looked, and the flappy cover on the 1st gen console was starting to get really irritating on our 2020 Model Y LR AWD. Also, it was preventing us from installing certain aftermarket mods and so we decided to pull the trigger and upgrade the Model Y center console from 1.0 to 2.0 and we have no regrets whatsoever.

It seemed like a lot in the beginning, but after we started to take things apart, it was not as intimidating as we had initially thought. The price of the center consoles have also come down since we first looked into doing this project on our 2020 MY.
