Time to turn our attention to the COUNTERSHAFT of our Triumph TR3 transmission for our Triumph TR4 project! The old guy takes a look at the shaft, the gears, and the overall bushing float to see what is wrong. These shafts are notorious for damage if there are issues with the needle bearings. Note this is a 3-synchro transmission out of a Triumph TR3. The process is very similar for 4-synchro boxes used in TR4, TR4a, TR250, and TR6.
