On the 24th and 25th of September 2022 we chase JA 1271 from Feilding to Patumahoe. Along with Steam Inc's 1271, GVR's DBR 1254 assisted hauling the 14-car train up the trunk. For the next 3 weeks or so, 1271 will be up in the Auckland and Waikato regions hauling smaller trains and running on the Glenbrook Vintage Railway.
