In this silent solo hike, I climb two lesser-known peaks—Vrtaško sleme and Votlo sleme—rising over 2,000 meters on the northern rim of the Julian Alps. Though these peaks are impressive in their own right, they are overshadowed—quite literally—by the towering alpine giants just to the south.

Standing on their narrow summits, you're not just on top of a mountain—you're seated in row one of nature’s theater, face-to-face with snow-capped titans under a brilliant blue sky.

🧭 The climb isn’t technical, but it is serious—especially in early spring conditions.
🥾 More than half the route winds through soft, melting snow, demanding patience and steady rhythm.
🎥 A crystal-clear day allowed for breathtaking drone footage, capturing the silence and majesty of the high alpine world.
