Day 22 - Cover your strength

Prayer Focus for Today: Cover Your Strength led by   / abhyonagrant  

Pray that your strength would be renewed when the work feels heavy or prolonged. Ask the Lord to guard you from discouragement, fatigue, and the temptation to stop building because of exhaustion. Pray that God would strengthen you to keep building what He assigned, even when progress feels slow or resistance feels strong according to Nehemiah 4:10 ESV In Judah it was said, ‘The strength of those who bear the burdens is failing. There is too much rubble. By ourselves we will not be able to rebuild the wall.

Pray that God would give you strength not only to build, but to lead, gather, and organize others according to His plan. Ask the Lord for clarity to hear His instructions accurately and wisdom to apply them well. Pray that you would not misinterpret God’s direction due to pressure or fatigue, but move with discernment and confidence as you lead others in the work according to Exodus 18:21 ESV Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people as chiefs of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.

Pray that you would recognize your season of labor and not grow weary in doing good. Ask the Lord to sustain you emotionally, spiritually, and physically as you give of yourself in obedience. Pray that sacrifice would not drain you, but that God would strengthen you so your work is marked by endurance, purpose, and peace according to Galatians 6:9 ESV And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
