Railfanning the state of Utah, primarily around Salt Lake City has not only amazing scenic photo opportunities, but also the chance to see a wide variety of railroad operations including freight, passenger, shortline and even industrial. Although Union Pacific is king to SLC and the state of Utah, there are many neat operations scattered all around.
This video features the Salt Lake City area, as well as Soldier Summit, Echo Canyon, and even the Great Salt Lake all taken in February of 2017. Railroads such as Union Pacific, BNSF, Utah Railway, and small shortlines are seen in the video. Enjoy!
