On my hunt for the best technical trails in the Alps, one quiet valley in Piemonte, Italy, kept pulling me back: Valle Maira. I had visited briefly before and got a taste of the natural trails and epic flow, but it felt like just the beginning. The stories of untouched terrain stuck with me — I knew I had to return. So I did, teaming up with my buddy and filmmaker Tristan Hobson for three days of exploring this wild alpine gem.
