At 17:59:52 the town of Cherokee conducted a weekly test of their Outdoor Warning Sirens on Thursday, October 13th, 2022, the test consisted of about a 2 Minute Attack, although the 16V1T-B sounds for 3 minutes.
A few months ago I called Cherokee asking if they tested and they said they did, but I didn’t believe them for some reason. I called them yesterday again and got the same answer so I figured I’d just go today and they did test. The Model 7 either failed or it’s inactive, I’ll find out next time I go there. But I got a decent ambiance. Also, the sirens in this town are mainly used for fires so they test in Attack which is their fire signal. During tornado warnings they would do Alert though. For some reason the 16V1T-B goes for 3 minutes while the rest of the sirens go for 2 minutes
