The 4-day adventure begins at Road's End in Kings Canyon National Park.
With stunning views of the enigmatic Sphinx, Mist Falls and Paradise Valley, it's just a taste of what was to come.
But plans had to change after Day 1!
So, we didn’t end up completing the loop, but made it up to Upper Rae Lake and back again.
That actually meant MORE miles than completing the loop, but circumstances dictated we adjust our itinerary.
So, this is how NOT to do it, but it is an option if you find you’ve bitten off more than you can chew!
