So how are you all?

In today’s video, I’ve brought you two short trips that I went on suddenly. I’ve divided the video into two parts: *Day 01 and Day 02. The special thing is that I didn’t go on these trips on consecutive days. Also, I went on both trips by cutting my lectures. Normally, I rarely skip lectures, but this week my mind was a bit stressed. With presentations, business work, assignments, and exams coming up close together, I wasn’t really in the right mental state to attend lectures.

Because of that, these small trips helped me relax my mind. If you like, you can try it too - it’s really good for both your mind and your body.

📌️ Day 01

On the first day, I went with two friends from campus. We had a morning lecture, and after that we went on this trip, skipping the evening lecture.

First, we went to KCC.
After that, we went to the Orio Ice Cream Shop on Peradeniya Road

These days, the sun in Kandy is very strong, which is why we felt like having ice cream. If you want to enjoy different flavors of ice cream at an affordable price, Orio Ice Cream Shop is the perfect place. There are two branches in Kandy. After having ice cream, on our way back to campus, we also bought some snacks.


📌️ Day 02

On the second day, we went in the morning. Including me, seven friends joined this trip. First, we went to the Temple of the Tooth and engaged in worship, then went to the Magul Maduwa. One important thing to mention is that these days they are painting the Maligawa, so if you’re going with small children, please be a bit careful.

After that, we planned to go to KCC, but we canceled it because the sun was very strong and we had a lecture at 1 o’clock. So instead, we ate achcharu at Sahas Uyana and then went straight back to campus. If you like, you can definitely go and taste the achcharu at Sahas Uyana. No matter what time you go, there’s always a crowd there - it’s never empty.
