De Petruskerk in Eindhoven is in 1880 ingewijd. Al tijdens de bouw is de toren volledig ingestort: constructie fouten. Is helemaal opnieuw opgebouwd onder verantwoordelijkheid van een nieuwe architect en in 1913 in gebruik genomen. De kerktoren is met 76 meter één van de hoogste in Nederland.

The Petrus Church in Eindhoven was consecrated in 1880. During construction, the tower collapsed completely due to structural defects. It was rebuilt from scratch under the supervision of a new architect and opened in 1913. At 76 meters, the church tower is one of the tallest in the Netherlands.
