10 Fishing in Koh Lanta Thailand with my Thai husband | Sweet love story of the fisherman couple

In this episode of beautiful stories from Koh Lanta we join a fishing trip with our kids and a local fisherman couple called Ja Malee and Bang Godet from Koh Por, a real authentic and non-touristy local island just opposite of Koh Lanta island.

We are leaving from the Old Town pier. The plan is to go fishing for shrimps in the middle of the sea. We fish with a long net that we lower into the water, wait about half hour and then pull the net out of the water and see, what did we catch?

We catch so many things! Different fish, shrimp, octopus, squid, crab and we see some jelly fish and some shells that get stuck in the net.

The fisher couple tell us the story of how they met and got married many years ago, in the times when parents decided for the kids who they would marry.
