Always a shame to see the end of the journey for a class of loco and unit. Today marks the end of the Class 507's on the UK railway network with the final 2 examples leaving Merseyrail to head to Newport behind 37884. 507001 is being spared the cutters torch and will be moved from Newport to Alstom Derby by road however 507029 will soon be history.
Also seen at Shrewsbury today are the pair of Network Rail beasts 97302 and 97304 returning back to Coleham after a nights work on the Cambrian with a engineering working.
