After spending two long months on the road, my body was exhausted—but my heart still had space for one last detour. Meghalaya.
This time, it wasn’t about ticking off tourist spots or chasing the perfect shot. It was about slowing down. Riding with my friends Richard and Najmul. Visiting places that don’t make it to the typical itineraries—Nongkhnum Island, Weinia Falls, Markham Valley… corners of Meghalaya where time moves differently.
December might not be the best time to explore this region, with its dry waterfalls and biting cold evenings—but with the right people, every ride becomes memorable.
This is the story of three friends on three motorcycles, finding peace in the quiet, offbeat trails of Meghalaya. A slow ending to a long journey.
