The Japanese Steam Locomotives-Class C56 were shipped from Japan to Thailand during World War II. They ran in Thailand and Burma, such as on the Burma railway, also known as the Death railway.
The two locomotives are still kept at Thonburi Locomotive Depot in Bangkok now.
