Episode 111
Stay in your Lane: I think it’s safe to say that Lane Kiffin is now the most hated man in the state of Mississippi. Earlier this week, it was announced that Kiffin would be taking his coaching talents to LSU. With Kiffin going to LSU, could Ole Miss be on the decline, and would LSU be in the conversation of National Championship contender?
Coaching Carousel: Speaking of Kiffin going to LSU, there was a bunch of coaching moves both prior and after Kiffin went to LSU. VT would get James Franklin, Auburn would get Temu Sean McVay, Florida would get Jon Sumrall, and UCLA would get Bob Chesney. With all these teams gaining a new HC, which team will benefit most from hiring their next HC?
Irish Revenge Tour: Miami deserves to be in the CFP, Miami beat ND head to head, yeah well guess what, ND won out the remainder of their schedule while Miami lost to 2 UNRANKED teams coming off a bye week. Everyone never cared about SOS, but when it’s ND, all of a sudden, now SOS is a problem. Well hell, why don’t we make the CFP March Madness style, but I guarantee, and would be my next paychecks that people would still complain about ND getting in AND the 65th team being excluded. Keep crying bitches, it won’t change anything. Anyways, despite having 2 losses, can the Irish continue their run and get back to the National Championship?
Lucky Stanford: Yet another rough season for Stanford is in the books as the Cardinals finish with a record of 4-8. However, there may be a slight ray of hope for Stanford as former QB Andrew Luck is in charge as the GM. With former Stanford QB Andrew Luck at the helm, could Stanford be back in National Championship contention in the future?
Sophomore Slump: Ahh yes, the classic sophomore slump strikes again as Redskins QB Jayden Daniels would go down with a dislocated left elbow. However, it was announced that Daniels has been fully practicing and could return for Week 14 against the Minnesota Vikings. Regardless of the outcome, after going through the classic sophomore slump this year, should expectations for Jayden Daniels be high next year?
Ramming the NFC: Ahh yes the beauty of football baby. When we once thought that the Eagles would be running the NFC, has now turned into a game of who will come out of the NFC. Right now, the NFC North and West are stacked to the brim with potential teams. But one team that stands out is the LA Rams, and Matthew Stafford playing at an MVP level right now. Are the Rams a legit contender in the NFC, or are the playing the part of fools gold?
Bear Down: Well bend me over, make me beg for it, and color me impressed. Because the Chicago Bears are playing some insane football right now. Going into this season I couldn’t stop preaching that Caleb Williams has no excuses after the Bears went out and beefed up their OLINE, and brought in former Lions OC Ben Johnson. Now the Bears are sitting at 9-3, and stand alone in the NFC North. After their win against the Eagles, did the Bears show they’re a legit contender in thr NFC?
Confidence in Carolina: I honestly didn’t think the season would turn out this way for the Carolina Panthers. What started out as another typical losing season, has now turned into a potential situation that the Panthers could actually win the NFC South. Now, I’m not making excuses for the Bucs, but they’ve been pretty injured ridden as the season has progressed. But real talk props to the Panthers for turning things around and being in the scenario that they’re currently in. Could the Carolina Panthers be contenders in the NFC South next season?
