Don't get hung up on scoring, with little fancy leaf patterns, or making it look like this ones they sell at the farmers market. Sourdough is sourdough with all the sourdough goodness even when it's just a loaf. Managing the sourdough starter is the easiest part of baking sourdough bread. Pulling it off on your schedule is the challenge. Sometime we just run out of time in the day and have to finish tomorrow or even the next day. In this video I attempt to show you how I wake my starter up only when I want to bake bread. It's have no discard, everything gets used. I use the refrigerator and make even tastier bread. Don't make it difficult, it's just making bread. The recipe shown is for a basic sandwich loaves in standard loaf pans. Get started, you will learn as you go.
