Easy D.I.Y Candy Lei with Plastic Wrap

Did the year fly by for you too?! Graduation totally snuck up on us, and we needed a lei. This D.I.Y. Candy lei was ready in under 5 minutes, using supplies we already had at home!


GET CRAFTIN':
🎓 Plastic Cling Wrap
🎓 Curling Ribbon
🎓 Individually Wrapped Candy
🎓 Scissors

🍬 Unroll plastic wrap to the length you'll need for the lei.
Adult Lei: 40+ inches
Keiki Lei: 30+ inches
*If your roll is wide, cut length in half.
🍬 Arrange candies into a line down the center of the wrap.
🍬 Fold plastic wrap over the candies snuggly, and press down to seal.
🍬 Cut ribbon or string to lengths long enough to tie a knot on each side of the candy.
🍬 Tie ribbon between each candy.
🍬 At the end, layer both ends to they overlap each other and use a ribbon to secure them together with a knot.
🍬 Finish with a bow!


*Note: Length of lei will vary depending on the recipient. The lei in the video were intended for keiki (about 30" long). For an adult we recommend at least 40".
