A psychic scream across the stars, a choir of ancient fear,
The message reached the distant void: "The final hour is near."
From the reaches of the Segmentum, from the crusades far away,
The sons and daughters of the Gate turned back to join the fray.
No matter where they fought or bled, on worlds of ice or fire,
The blood of Cadia pulled them home, back to the funeral pyre.
The ships are tearing through the Warp, ignoring every gale,
For if the bastion world should fall, the galaxy shall fail.

Cadia is calling! Her voice is in the wind!
The penance for the galaxy, the purging of the sin!
A thousand fleets are coming home, a storm of iron and light,
To stand before the Great Abyss and challenge all the night!

I stood upon a shrine-world’s soil, my chalice filled with prayer,
When the Astropath began to shriek and clutched the frozen air.
I felt the pull within my soul, the Order’s sacred oath,
To guard the realm of Mankind and to stunt the Chaos growth.
I saw the Silver Shroud depart, I saw the Templars sail,
Every warrior of the Throne was donning holy mail.
The Black Kelch does not hesitate when the mother-world is pained,
We go to where the blood of saints has for millennia rained.

Behold the orbit of the Gate, a ring of steel and pride!
The Battle-Barges gather there, with Glory as their guide.
The Kasrs are waiting down below, the guns are being blessed,
For every soldier coming home, there is no time for rest!
