Italeri 1/72 Scale P-51A Mustang Double Build | Weathering & Vac Canopy Disaster | Part 3

Welcome to the 3rd episode of my 1/72 Scale Italeri P-51A Alison Mustang double build!

In this final episode I complete both Miss Virginia and the RAF desert Mustang...

Join me as I tackle some tricky vacuform canopy experiments (that didn’t quite go to plan…), and finish the two builds with chipping, enamel washes, oils, and all the small final details.

Despite some delays and setbacks — especially with the canopies — the goal was to learn from the process, push my weathering skills, and see how Italeri’s reissued P-51A holds up in 2025. With its high price tag and older moulds, is it still worth picking up?
