The Good News, Part 8c: What Did Jesus Mean By "Today" and "Paradise" at Luke

At Luke 23:43, did Jesus mean that he'd be in paradise with the evildoer hanged beside him on that very day, or was he merely being emphatic by saying "I say to you today,..."? Some suggest that the comma should be before the word today, while others--like Jehovah's Witnesses--claim that it should be after. Could it be that Jehovah's Witnesses are wrong in this instance? Could it be that other Bible versions have the comma placed correctly?
