During the last couple of years, during the many events I attended, I always kept a big focus on the historic formula racing series, which starts from the very pre-war GP cars to the latest model that have been just changed. That's of course the case of the BOSS GP and MAXX Formula, two champioships that give a second life to F1, F3000, GP2 and many other formula cars from the '90s onward
One of them is definetly the Dallara GP2/11, the last car used in GP2 and the first one since the rebranding into F2, going from 2011 to 2017 in the F1 feeder series, before being eligible in BOSS GP and MAXX Formula since 2019
In this video I've put together some of the best clips I recorded from this car in various different circuits including Monza, Hockenheim, Misano and Mugello, where many Dallaras GP2/11 raced during the BOSS GP and MAXX Formula races
During its activity years, the Dallara GP2/11 has been used by many important names, including current F1 drivers Charles Leclerc, Lando Norris, Alex Albon and Pierre Gasly
It's powered by the glorious Mecachrome V8 4,0 l engine, with a total power of 612 hp at 10.000 rpm
