Walking Seattle - Lake to Lake: Gas Works Park to Green Lake Park, 2025

Starting at the north shore of Lake Union at Gas Works Park, we walk through the Wallingford neighborhood to the shores of Green Lake. This was the hottest day of the year so far (low 90’s), so I wanted to walk in a shady neighborhood such as Wallingford.

We pass by the Good Shepherd Center, which was at one time a home for girls.

45:55 Keystone and N 55th/56th St, right onto 56th
47:55 56th and Kensington Pl N, left onto Kensington
52:05 Kensington and N 60th St, right onto 60th

57:30 Corliss and N 65th St, right onto 65th
58:35 65th and Sunnyside Ave N, left onto Sunnyside, Green Lake Elementary School to the right
1:01:25 Sunnyside and E Green Lake Way N, right onto Green Lake Way
1:04:35 Green Lake Way and NE Ravenna Blvd, bear left to go into park
