After a year of owning our tractor, we have had many people ask us what the tipping point was. When did we decide to buy a tractor? Several things led up to our decision, but the final straw was when Thelma went down. If we had purchased our tractor just a month or two earlier, we might still have two dairy cows. So we wanted to give you a few things to think about when considering such a big purchase. Obviously, finances are the first thing to consider. But after that, you have to look at the capabilities of a tractor and what potential uses it would be on your homestead.
