this is one of the earliest victor records that I own(but not my earliest). for a 7 inch record, it sounds alot better than the harvard 7 inch that I uploaded before this video. and despite the lyrics that are now considered racially offensive, I find the song relatable.
recorded in March 1902(pre matrix), played on my victor vv-ix with an exhibition reproducer and a loud toned steel needle, spun at 76rpm.
