by jin ran (金然). please go check their songs out on youtube and spotify! i think the instrumentals for these songs are wonderful! lyrics were hard for me to understand bc it uses traditional chinese characters and old chinese literature grammar/language style (not to mention editing the lyrics into something more readable:,) ) but its basically abt a festival since theres a performance by a phoenix. joyful sounds spread throughout the audience that night and there was a man standing in the middle of them all. translation of lyrics are by my friend~

東風夜放花千樹。
Dōng fēng yè fàng huā qiān shù.
(Thousands of flowers bloom in the eastern wind at night.)

更吹落、星如雨。
Gèng chuī luò, xīng rú yǔ.
(As the wind blew, flowers fell down to the ground like snowflakes.)

寶馬雕車香滿路。
Bǎo mǎ diāo chē xiāng mǎn lù.
(Carriages could be heard in the distance.)

(A phoenix played flute & jade lights turned on as the phoenix dance the 'Sea Dragon Dance'.)

(While thousands of people watch the performance.)
