Qazî Mihemedî re - Vengê Ma

"Qazî Mihemedî re" is a cinematic Kurdish rock anthem that brings to life the final, immortal words of Qazi Muhammad, the fearless president of the Republic of Mahabad. How fortunate are the Kurdish people to have such a legendary leader, whose love for his nation, his country, and its freedom was greater than his own life.

We originally wanted to write lyrics about his speech. However, the words Qazi spoke before his execution are so profound, so magical, and so powerful that we decided to leave them untouched. What you hear is the raw, historical testament of a leader facing the darkness with a full heart, refusing a blindfold so he may see his "precious people" one last time.

This song is our commemoration of him and his friends. The music mirrors his spirit: the mournful melodies carry the sadness of the moment, but the driving, defiant #KurdishRock rhythm holds the resilience and hope of his message. This is not a story of victimhood; it is a profound declaration of dignity, sacrifice, and the unbreakable continuity of an idea.

Qazi Muhammad's life was taken, but his spirit was not. As he declared, in the hearts of the Kurds, "THERE ARE MANY QAZI MUHAMMADS". He lives forever.
