Trek CheckOUT SL7 :: Owner's first impression after 50 miles

I've been riding the all-new Trek CheckOUT SL7 for only a few days, but after 50 miles, I thought I'd offer some first impressions. I've been wanting a full suspension gravel bike for many years, so I was pretty certain this bike would impress me. The frame geometry is similar to the Santa Cruz Stigmata, which I also own. The difference between the bikes, however, is quite extraordinary. Namely, the CheckOUT ("Check-Out" on the frame) has greater suspension in the front (60 mm vs 40 mm on the Stigmata) and the rear suspension (55 mm) puts this bike in a class of its own. The dropper post travels 100 mm, vs. the Stigmata's 75 mm. The Stigmata is about a pound lighter than the CheckOUT.
