141. Simple DIY - How I replaced my table saw - part 3

This video picks up from where the previous video ended.

I have owned several table saws in my lifetime and I have enjoyed using them. However, now I am in a smaller space surrounded by neighbors so I am much more conscience of the dust and noise a table saw can create. So I started thinking about alternative ways to cut primarily sheet goods.

What I decided to do was revisit using a circular saw along with a cutting guide (that's clamped in place). I have used this combination years ago and was always very happy with the results. What's old is new again so I'm back at it and still very happy with the results.

In this video, I expand a little on the basic idea of how to place your cutting guide to make very accurate cuts.

I have been using Ryobi 18v tools for years; back when they were using NiCad batteries. I was very pleased when they came out with the Lithium Ion batteries because these new batteries worked with my old tools!

I find as I get older, I have less tolerance for loud noises. Whenever I am in my shop using a loud power tool like the BladeRunner or a shop vac, I wear these earmuffs.
