Southern Upland Way 2025 - Day 13 - Lauder to Wild Camp

Day 13 was setup to walk over 30km on flatter ground to leave an easier final day in time to catch a 2:30pm bus back to Berwick (where we'd catch a train home). Leaving Lauder, we crossed the misty valley before passing through a few arable farms with attached cattle operations. A seemingly never ending crossing of a moor lead us to Twin Law cairns, site of a Saxon Battle. The cairns represent two brothers in a mystical war. Passing the low Watch Water Reservoir, we got some water in Longformacus before we arrived at our best wild camp, leaving around 26km to finish
