This chicken biryani weighs 1 kg!! If you want to take orders then this video will be helpful to you. Kachhi as in we won’t fry onion or tomato. Still this will be perfectly like dum biryani. This is original recipe of biryani. Later on with many variations in the original recipe, we make today’s version. As this is kachhi biryani we will be using raw chicken and raw rice. It turns out nice and juicy. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 kg Chicken
• 1 cup Curd
• 1 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1 piece Javitri / Mace
• 2 Cinnamon sticks
• 1 black Cardamom
• 2 green Cardamom
• 4~5 Cloves
• 10~12 black Peppercorns
• 1 tsp Biryani masala
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 2~3 slit Green chilies
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• Mint leaves
• Salt to taste
• 2 cup Basmati rice
• 5 cups Water
• 2 tbsp Salt
• 2 Bay leaves
• 1 Cinnamon stick
• 7~8 Cloves
• 1 black Cardamom
• 2 green Cardamom
• 1 piece Mace
• 1/2 tsp Ghee
• 2 tbsp Oil
• 2~3 tbsp Ghee
• 1/2 tsp Biryani masala
• Saffron milk
• Mint leaves
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
Method:
• Wash chicken really good and add curd, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder,
mace, cinnamon, black cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, biryani
masala, turmeric powder, green chilies, coriander leaves, roughly chopped mint leaves, salt.
• Mix everything well together and transfer it into freeze to marinate overnight.
• Take the chicken out at least 1 hour before making biryani.
• Wash rice really good and and soak it in enough water for 30 minutes.
• Drain all the water from soaked rice and set it aside.
• Heat up water on medium heat and when it begins to boil add salt, bay leaves, cinnamon,
cloves, black cardamom, green cardamom, mace, ghee.
• Add the soaked rice and cook on high heat for just 5 minutes.
• Heat up oil in a pan and add marinated chicken.
• Spread it well and spread boiled rice on it.
• Turn off the gas and add 2 tbsp water in which we boiled rice into the pan.
• Add ghee, biryani masala, saffron milk, mint leaves, coriander leaves.
• Cover and cook on high heat for 5 minutes.
• Reduce the heat low to medium and cook biryani for 45 minutes.
• Turn off the gas and let it be on the gas for another 5 minutes. Kachhi chicken biryani is all
ready.
