Whisking 1 cup of rice bran oil into an egg yolk mixed with about 1 tbsp of Dijon mustard to make mayonnaise. Speasoned and acidified with lemon juice at the end. I did by hand as a test this because my rice bran oil mayo wasn’t emulsifying when whipped with a stick blender or food processor, and I was wondering if there’s something weird about rice bran oil. It seems there isn’t, this formed a very nice thick emulsion.
