How much water can you add to acrylic paint? In this video, I test how much water acrylic paint can handle in real world use. I replicate the testing done by Golden where the paint is diluted to a ratio of 100 parts water and 1 part paint. I conduct adhesion tests on different brands of acrylics. I also address how to use isolation coats to increase durability. As always, test your own materials and surfaces before committing to a finished painting. Isolation coats can also disturb previous layers, so Golden recommends adding medium to your water that you use for dilution.

🖌️ MY COLOR MIXING COURSE
In my course I demonstrate how to mix basic colors and I cover all of the colors and equipment that I use. I start off with simple color mixing exercises using student acrylics. Then I progress to color matching demos where I match the color of celery, apples etc.
