Michael and Steph continue on with the Mazerunner trilogy with the second installment, Mazerunner: The Scorch Trials! Thomas and his fellow Gladers face new dangers in a desolate, post-apocalyptic landscape as they uncover the dark secrets of the powerful organization WCKD.

Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials was directed by Wes Ball (Maze Runner: The Death Cure, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, Ruin). The main cast includes Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf, The Maze Runner, Love and Monsters) as Thomas, the determined leader of the Gladers who seeks to uncover the truth behind WCKD. Kaya Scodelario (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Crawl, Skins) plays Teresa, Thomas’s conflicted ally with hidden motives. Thomas Brodie-Sangster (The Queen’s Gambit, Game of Thrones, Love Actually) portrays Newt, Thomas’s loyal and level-headed friend. Ki Hong Lee (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Wish Upon, Maze Runner: The Death Cure) stars as Minho, the group’s brave and athletic scout. Rosa Salazar (Alita: Battle Angel, Undone, Bird Box) joins the cast as Brenda, a tough survivor who helps Thomas navigate the dangerous Scorch. Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, The Mandalorian, Better Call Saul) plays Jorge, Brenda’s resourceful and cunning guardian. Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, The Wire, Bohemian Rhapsody) takes on the role of Janson, a high-ranking WCKD official hunting Thomas and his friends. Patricia Clarkson (Sharp Objects, The Green Mile, Easy A) returns as Ava Paige, the enigmatic and ruthless leader of WCKD. Jacob Lofland (Mud, Justified, Little Accidents) plays Aris, a quiet but intelligent escapee from another WCKD facility. The film expands the world of The Maze Runner series, introducing new allies and enemies while raising the stakes in Thomas’s fight for freedom.
