The first of the 14 SANDF soldiers killed in the eastern DRC has been laid to rest.
Rifleman Derrick Maluleke was laid to rest at his final resting place in Hlaneki village outside Giyani in Limpopo.
The funeral service was held at his homestead.
Maluleke was on his third deployment to the war-torn country when he was killed in January.
