San Diego Police Received a call for a male unconscious in his vehicle, stalled in a traffic lane. When SDPD arrived they knocked on the windows in an attempt to wake the male. The male was not responding to officers. After several attempts to wake the male, police decided to break the passenger side window. When the window shattered, the male woke up and began driving away. The Police initiated a pursuit and followed the driver for several blocks throughout the Clairemont neighborhood. Police deployed spikes that they believe the suspect ran over. The suspect then decided to pull over and peacefully surrender to officers. The suspect was taken into custody and the vehicle was impounded.
