Ride To The HOG Auckland Chapter AGM At Snells Beach And This Time Nobody Got Lost

This weeks video takes us along on a HOG Auckland Chapter Ride to the 2023 AGM held in The Salty Dog Inn at Snells Beach. The last time we went to the Salty Dog Inn the tail section of the ride had an unscheduled adventure on a metal road after a corner marker abandoned their post but this time the whole group made it to the destination without incident.
The group was led out by our Auckland Chapter Director Cammo leaving from Z Silverdale with close to thirty bikes and a number of pillions. Our route was fairly direct just skirting around Waitoki and Wainui before cutting across to Orewa and Waiwera before rejoining State Highway One at Puhoi and then straight up the guts to Warkworth before shifting across to Snells Beach, a distance of around 60km, more or less.
A very enjoyable ride followed by a well attended AGM and a nice buffet lunch where we could catch up with old friends and riding buddies before making our own way home.
