On Saturday 17th February 2018, we see 37069 & 37259 courtesy of Direct Rail Services, take charge of the Pathfinder Tours "The Pennine Pathfinder", as the two 37's do battle with the infamous 1 in 37 Lickey Incline.
The 37's tackled the incline from a standing start after pausing at Bromsgrove for circa 20 minutes. The train made good progress on the incline with load 13 on, and a spirited departure from Bromsgrove helped kick off proceedings which could be heard from this location.
With overhead gantries all of the way up the incline now, it's nice still to see 37's on their old stomping ground, and hopefully for several years to come in the future...
