1) The History of Fort Kochi, By K.L. Bernard: This book is available at Master’s Art Cafe , Fort Kochi (Gmap Location); even the road leads to the café is named after the author of the Book.
2) The Folklore Odeum, Fort Kochi (Click here for Location): The best place to enjoy the traditional artform of Kerala. Kathakali shows timing is 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the first hour is to know about the costume and face painting, the second hour is the performance. The ticket price is Rs. 500/- each. Whereas the Theyyam and Kalaripayattu show starts at 8:00 pm and runs about an hour. The ticket price is Rs. 700/- each. Generally, Theyyam is performed in temples, but here, you will get the rare opportunity to witness this sacred ritual up close, making it an unforgettable experience.
3) Chinese Fishing Net (Click here for Location) You don’t have to pay for this, but if you want to try pulling the net, pay the fisherman. However, I recommend bargaining beforehand.
