[Shaftdiver] Severe 1cc / Fossilmaiden / 37.69 million

Compared to Minogame, Fossilmaiden moves slower: it's a plus for aiming but a minus for evading terrain or projectiles (especially missiles). Her SP-Weapon is unguided and charges up markedly slower, but when it does connect the damage is pretty substantial. Pity I couldn't really get any good shots in this run; you could deal with Slug Lady (Seg4 boss) and all her options in about 10 seconds with one well-placed bomb. The explosion FX will also block the viewing of anything behind it, so be extra attentive when using it!

This run in particular has the best Seg1 performance I've ever had, clocking in at a little over 2 million just before the transition to Seg2. Seg2 itself is kinda up there too, but I'm not sure as to whether it's the best one I got. Other highlights include the full option stripping on Slug Lady, the entirety of 6:42 to 6:47, as well as a no-miss kill on Al4th. Speaking of Al4th, she really is a roll of the dice survival-wise, eh? You either no-miss her or she takes 4 of your lives...

Now for the mistakes. 8:01 has me missing the 2nd large transport ship in Seg6. Missing large chunks of the enemy spiral starting at 9:37 is also something that I'm rather miffed about too. The overall score itself is also pretty low for two misses: the 6th place score at the end clocked in at 35.77 million, and that was a 4-miss! The 5th place score (36.53 million) is a 3-miss!
Consider that each life is worth:
[1] one 2 Million Immortality bonus,
[2] a 100k end-of-stage bonus,
[3] as well as the associated Stella cost (also 100k per rank) for losing a life,
and I'm thinking that "hey, shouldn't I have at least 39 million to my score?".
I'm not sure if I'd want to continue improving my Fossilmaiden score for now though, as I'd like to return to Hellsinker EX1 practice.
