A land law lecture for law students by a former university lecturer with 25 years' teaching experience. Suitable for LL.B, GDL or CILX students. A lecture for law students on Land Charges. In this lecture I explain which proprietary rights can be registered as a land charge. I look at the Land Charges Act 1972, section 2 in detail and then go through worked examples using the IRAC method. This is the second in a series of lectures for law students on UNREGISTERED TITLE (or 'UNREGISTERED LAND') covering land charges, the doctrine of notice and overreaching for law students who are new to studying land law or are consolidating their understanding to prepare for an assessment.
