Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese says people "make fun" of ethnic names.
Mr Albanese was asked on his comments surrounding how his political opponents have used his name.
“People who have ethnic names at my age, or perhaps a bit younger, certainty older, had people make fun of their names at school, that’s what happened,” he said.
“People have raised it with me in the Italian community that they’re concerned about it.”
