Jane's USNF'97 • Kuril Islands Campaign Mission 22: Glowfish

We're tasked with taking out two Oscar class subs which surfaced off the coast of Simushir under the cover of dense fog.

Again I will try to save the Harpoons for next encounters by delegating the job of sinking the subs to my wingman, I still need to equip them (my wingman mirrors my loadout), which may be troublesome during landing due to increased weight, as I plan to bring them back.

The tip for this mission - don't try to engage the subs from your initial point as the Harpoons may collide with the island, it's better to fly west, past the island, turn south and then engage with only water between you and the subs.

The mission planner thinks he's a real joker, because he set-up the penultimate waypoint so it set us up on the LHD's bow instead of stern.

Also it seems to me that the Sea Harrier had better arming options in Marine Fighters version for DOS? In Jane's USNF'97 it can't carry Harpoons! IIRC in MF it could actually carry more of them than the AV-8B.
