Dogs are very welcome on the Southern Upland Way. Us Countryside Rangers often take our own dogs out on the route. But there are a few things that you need to know and a few things that you need to do to ensure you are being responsible and to keep everyone, including your dogs safe.
The Southern Upland Way is one of Scotlands Great Trails. A 214 mile coast to coast path from Portpatrick on the West Coast to Cockburnspath on the east. For more information visit our website at https://dgtrails.org/southern-upland-way.
