A professional video from the Grasmere Lakeland Sports & Show, showcasing their cheerful sportsday of 2025.
Notable for me especially because it includes our inaugural Grasmere Hike & Fly race, run by John Westall and Chris Field from the Cumbria Soaring Club. You can see the odd paraglider pilot in the background running about. This h&f race was an important but relatively minor part of an action-packed day, with the famous Senior Guides Fellrace, the Cumberland & Westmorland wrestling, hound trails, a fun dog show, a tug of war, and lots of entertainment / good food. As the video hopefully shows!
