Watch Out! The Commentator of Self-Awareness is Ignorance in Disguise | Non-Duality

In this dialogue Adrian speaks about a common pitfall on the path : when forgetting happens and is seen through, but the ego doesn’t let it fade out and instead re-engages with it. The ignorance comes back through the backdoor and comments the self-awareness process, puts it in a box, or brings back the timeline (‘Oh, I am so much more aware than I was last week!’).

“Awareness doesn’t need to re-engage with its own ignorance. It actually doesn’t need to be part of the process, nor to tell itself a story about the process.”
